World Best Website Awards are granted to exemplary websites that are pursuing "best practices" in website design & Internet communications.

This competition seeks to attract designers & programmers who are "redefining standards of website excellence & challenging existing paradigms of world best practice in Internet communications". This is rigorous competition between high quality sites at the "leading edge" of website design. Our quality criteria for website excellence are among the most rigorous on the Internet.

Nominations:

Before applying for these awards - it is important to first read the Judging Criteria (which you should try to apply to your site before entering).

Sites that are not initially selected to win a major award, yet still reflect a good website - may be granted a Merit Award. Sites granted a Merit Award may reenter the competition after they have further developed their site. Persistence pays - so if you do not win this award the first time you enter - update your site to conform with the criteria & then reapply.


Website Evaluators:

Our site judges are independent industry experts with substantial expertise in website evaluation.

We apply standardized testing procedures (see criteria) & visit your site on multiple occasions over a 12 week period.

Our judges are drawn from the following backgrounds.
